Every baby is different. Your baby's first toys are more likely to be a hit if they have the following features for them to respond to. Your baby has been able to hear clearly from birth. Until their eyesight is fully developed, they will use sound to get a sense of where an object is. Rattles, wind chimes or musical mobiles are all great. Bright colours and high-contrast patterns help your baby pick out shapes and patterns. Bright toys that move are even better as they can see moving objects more easily than stationary ones.
